Bella Deer is a singer/songwriter and performing artist from Geelong, known for her emotive storytelling, powerful vocals, and expansive sonic landscapes. With a sound that blends raw lyricism and heartfelt melodies, her music is often compared to Florence and the Machine, though she maintains a distinct voice all of her own. Bella has steadily built a dedicated following, captivating audiences with her emotional depth and raw performances.

 

Her live shows are a true testament to her talent, headlining sold-out performances across Australia and sharing stages with notable acts such as Husky Gawenda, Thirsty Merc, and Thando. Bella's single "Care Too Much" earned her finalist spots in the prestigious APRA AMCOS Vanda and Young Global Songwriting Competition, as well as an Honourable Mention and finalist recognition in the International Songwriting Competition, further solidifying her place as one of Australia's most promising emerging artists. Internationally, she performed in Seoul, South Korea and Italy at the Ferrara International Buskers Festival.

 

With the upcoming release of her debut EP Age of Alchemy in late 2024, Bella continues to push the boundaries of her sound. The EP, produced by her band and two tracks by Anna Laverty, it delves into themes of personal growth and transformation. As she prepares for a series of EP launch shows, Bella Deer is firmly positioned to leave a lasting impact on both the Australian and international music scenes.
